China’s not that stupid to over-extend themselves. They’re not as arrogant as the USA has been. They won’t burn their treasure to go fight wars across the Pacific.
The CCP is struggling to retain control of their own people. There’s no way they could maintain internal order by invading the USA–it would be far too unpopular. Starving people locked in their homes will not suddenly feel patriotic because the government they hate decided to go pick a fight with a nuclear-armed country.
At most, they’ll invade Taiwan but not the USA.
