Ponzis are very enjoyable during the expansion stage and they have to expand or die. Debt based systems are ponzis. This financial ponzi should have collapse in 2008 and let the bad debts go to zero. Bernanke did QE continuously to keep the economy on life support. Without the freely printed money and giving the buddies private banks free money, the economy dies.
