One thing I’ve noticed in the last week or two is the lack of “store brand” products in the stores. The local Pick ‘n Save (owned by Kroger) didn’t have any Kroger brand spaghetti sauce, so you needed to pay more for the name brand. Wal Mart didn’t have the equate brand shampoo I sometimes buy.
I got the last bottle of the Walgreens version of DayQuil. Again, I had to spend extra for the name brand versions of these products, when even store brand prices were inflated from a few months ago.
