The change of definition was not that it prevents disease, but to prevent symptoms. The prevention of the disease was the old definition. Now it covers up symptoms which can be very dangerous. I’m surprised Mike didn’t do that homework and make that clear.
Many pharm products are to cover up symptoms. Especially Steroids, etc. That’s a big problem. Steroids are helpful if you are dying. But not to cover up what is killing you when you might be able to do something to “cure ” it.
