Kanye West recently made headlines as he tried to keep a low profile while departing from Seoul, South Korea. The 47-year-old rapper was spotted in a black hoodie and shorts as he prepared to board a flight, having spent earlier in the week sightseeing in South Korea with his three eldest children—North, 11, Saint, 8, and Chicago, 6—and their stepmother, Bianca Censori.
Although West was not seen leaving with his children and wife, Censori, he appeared relaxed while sitting with two men and members of his security team. His youngest child, Psalm, 5, did not seem to accompany them on this trip.
West’s recent activities included a performance in South Korea where he took a jab at Adidas and gave a shout-out to fellow rapper Drake. During his Vultures 2 show on August 23, he dedicated his performance of the 2007 track “I Wonder” to Drake, and later chanted “f**k Adidas,” urging the audience to join in. He also performed “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” from his 2007 album *Graduation*. Notably, the concert saw several K-pop artists, including Aespa members Giselle and Winter, in attendance.
This tour marks West’s first performance in South Korea since the Summer Week&T music festival in 2010.
Ahead of his shows, West’s demands for his accommodations were detailed. According to DailyMail.com, he requested 24 rooms in a five-star hotel for personal use, specifying Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, or Aman group hotels for himself and Censori. The crew could stay at a different five-star hotel.
At the venue, West’s requirements included four private lockable rooms with black furniture, no plastic items, and black hand towels. He insisted on having 24 bottles of water, four of fruit juice, and specifically requested two different iPhone chargers, rejecting any bootleg Apple products. Alcohol, tobacco, and drugs were banned, and the crew was required to dress in black and refrain from using their phones.
