Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s five children are ready to move forward amid the news of their divorce.
“His kids are taking it fine as are hers,” a source close to the situation tells Page Six Tuesday shortly after the “Let’s Get Loud” singer pulled the plug on their marriage.
“Everybody is ready to move on.”
Lopez shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Affleck shares Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
The estranged couple’s five children have been close and spent time together at amusement parks, shopping malls and on vacations after their parents rekindled their romance in 2021.
Sources previously told Page Six that Lopez was upset about how her and Affleck’s breakup would affect their kids.
“There are five kids involved in this,” a source told us.
“She knew they were going to blend families. She has not fully accepted it is over.”
On Tuesday, Page Six confirmed the “Marry Me” star, 55, filed to divorce Affleck, 52, after two years of marriage. TMZ was the first to report the news.
Lopez submitted the papers at the Los Angeles Superior Court without an attorney and listed their separation date as April 26, 2024.
The “Selena” star didn’t state whether she and her estranged husband have a prenup and requested a judge waive spousal support for them both.
Coincidentally, the pop icon filed for divorce on the second anniversary of her and Affleck’s lavish Georgia wedding ceremony.
The two initially eloped in Las Vegas in July 2022.
Rumors of their split began swirling in May after the “Gone Girl” actor did not accompany Lopez to the Met Gala, where she was a co-chair.
Not long after, he was photographed without his wedding ring, and TMZ reported the father of three had moved out of their shared Beverly Hills, Calif., mansion.
The exes listed their marital estate for sale in July after noticeably spending the summer apart, with Lopez vacationing in Italy and the Hamptons as Affleck worked in Los Angeles.
The “Good Will Hunting” star was also absent from his estranged wife’s “Bridgerton”-themed 55th birthday party and the two spent their second wedding anniversary apart.
Despite their split, Lopez has spent quality time with Affleck’s children, stepping out with Violet in the Hamptons last month and going shopping with Samuel on Aug. 12.
