Her two-show tour has been plagued by continual drama. And rap superstar Cardi B, 26, looked like the strain was getting to her when she disembarked a private jet in Sydney on Monday. The Be Careful singer, who will storm the stage at the city’s Field Day Festival on Tuesday, looked noticeably downcast as she made her way across the tarmac.

Clad in a black-and-white striped dress, Cardi could barely conjure up a smile as she strolled to an awaiting black SUV after the five-hour flight.
The rapper was dressed for Sydney’s hot and humid weather, teaming her thigh-skimming dress with a pair of grey vintage Reebok runners and long black socks. Joining Cardi on the flight was her embattled publicist Patientce Foster, who opted to obscure her face with a large hoodie and a hat. Prior to getting into an awaiting black SUV, Cardi’s entourage opted to use large blue umbrellas to stop photographers and fans from taking photos of the superstar. It comes after Cardi and her publicist Patientce were embroiled in a high-profile spat with a member of the public.
When Cardi first jetted into Sydney she was accused of throwing a diva tantrum, choosing to cover her face with a blanket. ‘Can you guys please leave me alone?’ Cardi said through the blanket at one point as she was being mobbed by photographers and fans. Members of her entourage were also seen getting heated, telling photographers to ‘back up’ when they stepped too close to the I Like It rapper.
They also said that Cardi was in no mood to take pictures with her fans. ‘She doesn’t want to give you a picture, can’t you tell?’ Cardi’s publicist Patientce told fans and media. On Saturday, Cardi B was lambasted by media outlets after her publicist Patientce verbally attacked an elderly lady at Sydney Airport in an altercation.
Taking to her Instagram account, Cardi defended Patientce, saying she wished her employee had ‘spat’ on the elderly woman named Jane.
