Angel Reese’s Caitlin Clark Post After WNBA All-Star Game Goes Viral
A lot has been made of the WNBA Rookie of the Year race between Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese, but the two were teammates on Saturday. Headlining Team WNBA in the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game against Team USA, Clark and Reese helped lead their team to an impressive victory over USA Basketball’s squad.
The two star rookies shared some great moments together on the court, as Clark set the rookie assists record for an All-Star game while Reese became the first rookie to record a double-double. As they have done so many times throughout the season, Clark and Reese made history in the All-Star Game.
Perhaps more exciting for many fans than Reese and Clark sharing the floor together was how open the two rookies have been in their support of one another. This included Reese sharing a picture of her and Clark in an Instagram post, which many fans have pointed out:
The Instagram post from Reese has gone viral, accumulating over 100,000 likes and 1,200 comments in its first few hours since being uploaded. Recapping WNBA All-Star Weekend, Reese made sure to include Clark in her post.
Clark and Reese were the only two rookies selected to the 2024 WNBA All-Star team, as both players entered the break with impressive numbers:
At the Olympic break, Clark is averaging 17.1 PPG, 8.2 APG, and 5.8 RPG for the 11-15 Fever. As for Reese, she is averaging 13.5 PPG, 11.9 RPG, and 1.8 APG for the 10-14 Sky.
