Jennifer Lopez appeared on social media Tuesday to share a look at her return to rehearsals ahead of her revamped tour.
The 54-year-old mom-of-two — who celebrated Mother’s Day over the weekend — bared her washboard abs as she shared three photos in a dance studio.
The lifelong entertainer was joined by a female choreographer in the trio of snaps.
Jennifer wore a cropped, short-sleeved, white T-shirt with baggy, low-cut, faded green lounge pants.
In a caption to her 252 million followers, she wrote on Instagram, ‘#JLOLIVE Rehearsals Day 1 @LiveNation.’
Lopez was at the center of crisis talks over her upcoming tour, with organizers ready to pull the plug over poor ticket sales to save her from embarrassment, but the singer and her manager refused, insiders claimed to DailyMail.com this month.
She will hit the road this summer with a string of dates across North America in support of her ninth studio album, This is Me… Now.
But weeks ahead of the tour kickoff, she is facing a lack of sales, with blocks of seating still available at multiple venues, according to official seat maps on Ticketmaster.
Multiple sources said Live Nation, the promoter behind the tour, recently suggested canceling all 30 dates – but no one, including her long-term manager Benny Medina, was able to convince JLo.
‘A few weeks ago, Live Nation met with JLo’s manager Benny Medina to suggest cancelling JLo’s tour and because [he] and JLo are so adamant that the show must go on, it’s going on,’ someone close to the situation revealed.
Medina urged Lopez to create her latest album This Is Me.. Now, which centers around the rekindling of her relationship with Ben Affleck 20 years after the two separated.
According to Variety, Medina — who launched JLo’s career in 1999 — believed that her love story with the actor needed to be retold, and he told her: ‘Let me put you in touch with some writers who can help you transcribe this.’
Lopez spent the first quarter of the year promoting her latest music project, which includes an album, documentary, and film.
The superstar performer added a pair of large hoop earrings and big, round sunglasses with blue ombre-tinted lenses.
She had on a light face of makeup underneath the shades, which included peach-toned blush and a matching lipstick.
Lopez rounded out her comfortable and stylish ensemble with a pair of stark white sneakers.
The entrepreneur appeared to be holding a conversation over speakerphone as she held her phone in front of her and made animated expressions.
