Chiefs-49ers game (Photo via FOX)
On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers to improve to 6-0, and this play from Patrick Mahomes made it possible.
At the start of the fourth quarter, with the Chiefs leading 14-12, Kansas City lined up on the 1-yard line for a fourth and goal play.
Mahomes would make a few reads, and when nothing opened up, he ran the ball in himself up the middle and laid safety Malik Mustapha of the 49ers.
With how posed of a passer Mahomes usually is, it’s rare to see him need to make this kind of play.
Nobody on social media knew Mahomes had that kind of play in him.
