Eminem is back to his controversial ways as his latest song has angered some Megan Thee Stallion fans
Guess who’s back, back again? Shady’s back and he’s causing a stir once more.
Eminem has built a stellar career and is widely recognized as a hip hop legend.
Though, one thing the Detroit emcee is often asked to do is to go back to his old style of rap, and to essentially bring the hilariously controversial character Slim Shady out of retirement.
The music master has certainly been listening and Eminem’s latest song ‘Houdini’ has certainly been ruffling some feathers and delighting his fans at the same time.
If Eminem wasn’t making it clear enough he was dusting off the cobwebs of his more controversial rap style, his video displayed it loud and clear.

Essentially an amalgamation of some of his most popular music videos, the song references his song ‘The Real Slim Shady’ and most notably ‘Without Me’.
Almost like a follow-up to that video, Eminem tries to track down the 2002 version of himself to stop himself getting cancelled in the future. Ultimately, he ends up fusing with that version of himself…so we got a blonde hair and a black beard and a mix of both of his styles.
So, naturally, fans have been rejoicing, but it was his reference to Megan Thee Stallion that has people saying ‘Eminem is so back’.
During a verse, the rapper said: “If I was to ask for Megan Thee Stallion if she would collab with me, would I really have a shot at a feat?”

For some fans this seemed an innocent enough line, now hoping for a new song with the pair of them.
But the rapper was in fact using a play on words to reference when Stallion was shot in her foot by rapper Tory Lanez in 2020. Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison and is currently serving out his sentence.
Stallion fans certainly weren’t happy and took to social media to condemn the rapper for his lyricism.

“Now why that b***h shading Meg?,” one user wrote.
“This is so disrespectful,” wrote another.
“Eminem is a 60 year old man. Megan Thee Stallion is in her 20s… Megan had his dusty geriatric azz bothered,” a third wrote.
“He has a line referencing Megan Thee Stallion that was soooo f***ing corny, I stopped listening right then and there,” another commented.
However, Shady fans have insisted the reference to that incident involving the singer is a good sign, as Eminem has built a career with controversial rhymes, songs and antics, much to his fans’ delight.
