Refusing to let his disability define him, Christopher Reeve, with the unwavering support of his wife Dana, emerged as a passionate advocate for spinal cord injury research and stem cell therapy. Together, they established the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and the Reeve-Irvine Research Center, spearheading groundbreaking advancements that have provided hope and inspiration to countless individuals facing similar challenges.
Christopher passed away in 2004, followed by Dana just 17 months later, leaving their son Will to navigate life without them at the tender age of 13.
Now, at 27, Will Reeve has not only grown into the image of his father but has also embraced a career in sports journalism, becoming a notable figure in his own right.
Despite facing immense personal loss, Will’s journey is defined by resilience and a steadfast commitment to his parents’ legacy.

Much like his father, Will harbors a deep passion for sports, contributing regularly to ESPN’s SportsCenter. But his commitment extends far beyond the realm of journalism.
Will is actively involved in the mission his parents began, tirelessly advocating for new therapies and leading fundraising efforts for advancements in spinal cord injury treatments through the Reeve Foundation.
Will Reeve’s story transcends mere physical resemblance. It is a testament to the resilience, determination, and compassionate spirit instilled in him by his parents.
